Life After Launch

Life After Launch

Hello Everyone,

It has been a few weeks now since we have officially launched, so I thought it would be a great time to set up a blog post and keep you all updated (for those of you that are interested).

Its been a manic few weeks and that is all down to you lovely lot. Thank you so much for all your continued support and for all the sensory boxes that have been purchased already. Launch went better than I expected. So well in fact, that I spent the whole weekend packing up your boxes. I caused havoc at the post office with bags full of parcels (two trips to the car) and a baby in tow. I wasn’t that popular to say the least, but when I got messages on the Tuesday morning saying that your parcels had arrived, I was over the moon.

Your feedback has been so valuable and your pictures of your littles ones with their sensory boxes has been priceless. Their happy faces have made all the sleepless nights worth it. Please do keep sending us in your littles one’s pictures. We love to see them. If you have purchased a sensory box from us and haven’t done so already, then please leave us a review on our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/thelittlesensorybox it really helps us out as a small business.

I have been meaning to write a blog post since we launched, but the reality of being a mom to a 7-month-old, running a house, getting ready to go back to work full time and running a new business means I just haven’t had the time. There is so much I want to do to grow our business, but I have to be realistic about what I can achieve in one day. However, we do have lots of exciting things happening this year. So watch this space.

So… we have made a few small changes so far. Firstly, after our very successful launch weekend I realised that although I wanted to be as echo friendly as possible and that I wanted the parcels to “look” like presents by wrapping them all in brown paper; it just wasn’t time effective. It took me so long to individually wrap them all that I underestimated the time factor (first lesson learnt – I’m sure there will be many more to come). We will be very shortly changing to packaging bags. I have chosen an echo friendly packaging bag company that uses recycled packaging to still try and be as echo friendly as we possibly can. Our parcels will still look great though, so don’t worry about that.

Our second change is our visual cards within The Ultimate Sensory Box. We have upgraded our visual cards and they are fab. Not only are they great for your baby’s visual stimulation but there is also a little surprise for mom on the back! We will have a few more changes to come with the quality of our items (its only going to get better) and the release of some more boxes within our range (how exciting).

If you have any feedback for us, then please do not hesitate to get in touch either via our social media pages, our website or via email: info@thelittlesensorybox.com. If you are unsure about purchasing one of our sensory boxes within our range, then check out our reviews on our Facebook page.

We hope you have a fabulous week.
